001Who we are
Most of our work is behind a ceiling.
Al Amiri Contracting has fabricated structural steel in Ajman since 2001. The specialism we are known for — the support structure that carries an operable wall — is invisible the moment the ceiling closes. That is the point.
Design, fabrication, finishing and installation happen under one roof in Jurf Industrial Area 1. Nothing is handed between companies, so nothing is lost in the handover. When a detail will not work as drawn, you hear it from the people who would have had to build it.

Engineering in-house
Shop drawings, connection design and load checks are produced by our own team, not subcontracted.
Millimetre tolerance
Setting-out is surveyed and recorded. Where the drawing says ±3 mm, we work to ±3 mm.
Documented quality
Material certificates, weld procedures and inspection records issued with every package.
Safety as method
Method statements and risk assessments written for the actual site, not copied forward.

Fabrication is sequenced to your installation window, and we tell you early if anything threatens it.

006How we work
From drawing to hand-over, in six moves.
Discovery
We read the drawings, walk the site and establish what the steel actually has to do.
Engineering
Shop drawings, section sizing, connection design and clash review — issued for your approval.
Fabrication
Cutting, forming and welding in Jurf to approved drawings and welding procedures.
Finishing
Galvanising, coating or polishing to the specified system, with film thickness recorded.
Installation
Set out from a surveyed datum, installed by our own crews under an agreed method statement.
Hand-over
Inspection, as-built mark-up, certificates and O&M documentation issued together.

The ballroom partitions were the one item on the programme nobody wanted to own. Al Amiri took the load schedule, produced drawings in a week and set the steel before the ceiling grid went in. It was the least dramatic part of the job.
